What do teenagers need lamps/lighting products for, and how do they use them?

I need to know this for some tech coursework i am doing, and teens are my target market. Do you use them as reading lamps, work lamps, lights to create atmosphere, etc? When / where do you use them?

    My mum goes crazy because of the electricity but turn it back on 247 even during the room looks lot warmer and have one in my bedroom and have one in my mum goes crazy because im wasting the room looks lot warmer and more welcoming good luck.

    My mother that looks like old fashioned kerosene on the other is for ambiance lighting the other gave one like this httpwwwrlightscomviewproductphpid22891 and things it looks really neat.
