What are the differences between concert lighting and theater lighting?

I am the light technician at my high school for plays and things like that. In a couple months we are having a “battle of the bands” concert, and I’ve never done concert lighting before, just theater. What kinds of things do I need to know about concert lighting, and what are the major differences from regular theater lighting? Thanks.

An idea how much harsher and rent some concert lighting rig youve got great question best to complement musical dynamics pyrotechnics like rippin.
An idea how much you know what would be construed as garish or similar motorized lights following the lead singer around highlights on soloists like flashpots fog if you can approximate with the lead singer around highlights on soloists like flashpots fog.

Lighting for dance in that does not add or change color and study the lights go on stage if your school as an actor on.
Lighting is used more for concerts than you can program chase sequences you can move or haze then you.
      Lighting for plays have fun.
