My puppy chewed through the cords of 2 lamps. I’m wondering if I can replace the cords?

He chewed ALL the way through the cords (i.e. they are in 2 pieces) so electrical tape obviously won’t help. I like my lamps so I’d like to be able to remove the old cords and replace them with new ones, but I have no idea if this is possible. If it is, what do I need and where could I find it?
