Im going to be getting a young king snake this week and want to know what he will need as far as heating lamps?

I’ve already purchased a under the tank heating pad that covers about 1/3 of the tank. Will I need heat lamps to go along with this heating pad? If I do need them will I need more than one for a 20 gallon tank? And also what heat bulbs are good for nightime warmth?
