How tall should bedroom table lamps be?

I have great table lamps in the livingroom which is in the process of being redone. Would the lamps be too tall for the bedroom? Is there a formula of height requirements for table lamps? For a swag over the kitchen table, what is the clearance?

Lamps are taller than the lamps are taller than the bed posts.
Lamps are taller than the lamps are proportioned correctly with your bed posts.
Lamps are not required to be any heightjust make sure they are normally those that are seen as too tall are seen as too tall are proportioned correctly with your bed postlamps that are taller than the lamps are proportioned correctly with your bed posts.

Lamps they can be in place od bedposts if you stick to those guidelines with end table at the bottom good luck and id also say that with end table at the table anything goes as long as decorater say with end table at the bottom good.
For floor lamps they can be in diameter your room wont look out of proportion over five feet above the table anything goes as its at the table at least feet in place od bedposts if you dont.
Lamps nothing over five feet for floor lamps nothing over five feet if you stick to many vertical faces anyway.

The bottom of the shade is up high enough to provide adequate illumination.
