How do I get OEM fog lamps to work on my Contour, which didn’t come with the option or switch on the dash?

I bought factory fog lamps for my 98 Contour. I mounted them and plugged them into the factory outlet - already in place. Now that I have them installed, they won’t turn on when I put my low-beams on. I don’t want to spend $100+ for a factory switch. Is there any way that I can toggle them on by myself??
