A water pipe burst and the wood, insulation and vapor barrier got wet. The repairman pulled the insulation out and vapor barrier back to expose the wood beams. He has heat lamps and fans aimed at the beams for several days and nights to dry out the wood to prevent mold. Because they are on day and night, I worry about safety. He says its safe and he checks them everyday. Is this standard practice? Do you think this is safe?
