I have a 2006 Mustang GT and I’m looking to replace the headlamps with different bulbs. My question is what are the brightest and whitest bulbs available without upgrading to HIDs? I have the stock bulbs in and they aren’t all that great (obviously). So, any information would be appreciated, and if possible a link to where I can buy them online? Thanks in advance.
Thanks, but I’m specifically looking to not upgrade to HIDs.

BEFORE you do this, make sure it is not illegal to have fog lights and high beams on together in your state. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, as long as you dim your brights at 500 feet and don’t have more than 4 front white lights on at the same time, you are legal. The factory setting is to have the fog lights shut off when the high beams are turned on. This mod shows how you can override this setting. At what point is a ballast considered to be bad? I am looking for an easy way to determine when a ballast has gone bad.
I mean to ask what voltages are at the ballast output (at the tombstones)? It would be the same for a 120Vor 277v ballast input. I believe the output voltage will change as a ballast ages.

They are electronic & you plug them in order for them to operate.
