What type of lamps are good for bearded dragons to reach over 100 degrees?

Ok, so I want to get my beardie, Charlie, a good light for Christmas. he is a pre-adult- going on 2 soon. My regular light only reaches 70-80 degrees.

Why are the electric lamps in a house lighting circuit normally connected in parallel?

a) The current in every circuit must be the same.
b) The lamps are always switched on and off at the same time.
c) The voltage across each lamp must be the main voltage.
d) When one of the lamps blows, all the others go out.
