What is the name of a shell used to make lamps? Could it be “Puki shell” they are white, round and very thin.

These shells are very delicate and round. They are thin and almost see through. You usually find them strung with line into designs that make the most beautiful lamps and i wish to be able to find one. the color is white. I think they are called Puki shell but am not sure.
