I just heard about these Himalayan “salt lamps.” They’re supposed to ionize and clean the air. Have you ever used one, and do they really work?

On regular table lamps there is a place to attach a thin, metal, circular bar. This bar supports the lampshade; the top of the bar is where the lampshade generally screws on. The bar wraps around the lightbulb. I need to buy some but don’t know what to ask for!
