About Lamps

I need to know this for some tech coursework i am doing, and teens are my target market. Do you use them as reading lamps, work lamps, lights to create atmosphere, etc? When / where do you use them?

He chewed ALL the way through the cords (i.e. they are in 2 pieces) so electrical tape obviously won’t help. I like my lamps so I’d like to be able to remove the old cords and replace them with new ones, but I have no idea if this is possible. If it is, what do I need and where could I find it?

I’ve had to get my head lamps changed 6 times in three years. I think there’s a design fault on the Colt Elegance but Mitsubishi deny it stating that if I keep the lights clean it will stop the bulbs going all the time. I’ve tried this and it doesn’t work. Has anyone else had similar problems?

Two of my touch lamps globes went, and since replacing them with the same wattage globes,60 watt, they don’t respond to touching to turn them on and off. I now have to use the wall switch to use them which is a nuisance.

A FEW YEARS AGO I SAW THESE LAMPS, MY SISTER IN LAW HAS ONE SHE BOUGHT THROUGH SPIEGLE CATALOGUE. THEY ARE DIFFERENT WOMEN FIGURAL LAMPS, SOME ARE WITH A BICYCLE OR DOGS, HAS BEADED SHADES, REAL NEAT. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

All the street lamps on Saint Catherine street are dirty. I’m talking about the glass bulb. The glass doesn’t look transparent anymore, it looks brown. Don’t they clean them once in a while? Compare them to the new ones on Saint Laurent Boulevard. There is a huge difference. Is this supposed to be normal. Why don’t they clean them?
